Out of Ctrl
Have you noticed that web series are getting really good these days? I’m noticing that the best are trending toward being short-ish, punchy, and are increasingly starring fairly well known actors who can stretch their acting chops and have some fun on the interactive small screen.

And that perfectly sums up Ctrl, an NBC.com production that stars the amazing Tony Hale (Arrested Development’s bumbling, fumbling Buster Bluth) as a nerdy office worker who discovers that his keyboard has magical powers. The first several episodes, for example, center around the discovery that hitting Ctrl Z, the keyboard shortcut to undo, actually undoes real world events. Fun stuff.
Even the product placement is cute. A bottle of Nestea, the show’s sponsor, spills on the keyboard at the beginning which kicks off the comedic adventure.
