Live chat is fun… if there’s a live event on worth chatting about
I’m having a ball right now, watching the vice presidential debate on MSNBC.com while also messing around with Election 2008, Twitter’s election site.
I’m reminded that if there’s a live event on with massive interest — which goes without saying for Palin v. Biden — it can be a lot of fun to dive in with quick opinions while seeing a live stream or firehose of others’ opinions as well. Election 2008 does a really good job with this, and Twitter is obviously a perfect platform to click off quick quotes, links, opinions, and quips.
