Things are getting more Minority Report each day
Checking out Microsoft’s wondrous Surface technology given shape in the form of a sphere led me to think about how life is getting closer to the jaw droppingly cool technology displayed in the fictional film Minority Report each day. Wikipedia defines Surface as “a Multi-touch product from Microsoft which is developed as a software and hardware combination technology that allows a user, or multiple users, to manipulate digital content by the use of natural motions, hand gestures, or physical objects.” Sweet, right?

And here’s the first 10 minutes of Minority Report. If you can put up with the tacked on text overlay, you’ll get a sense of what the future holds midway through as Tom Cruise’s character shuffles through evidence on an interactive wall.
