Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

Joss Whedon and Neil Patrick Harris, together on the interwebs. It just might not get better than this.

I’m not really sure what Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is (it’s some kind of mini- or side-project cooked up by Whedon in the midst of the writer’s strike), but I am sure that we need it. If nothing else, this trailer is fantastic.

Meanwhile, we eagerly await Whedon’s return to TV in the form of Dollhouse, which premieres this fall. ” A futuristic laboratory assigns different tasks to its various residents, who then have their memories erased upon the completion of their assignments.”

That’s what I’m trying to say.

  • You're not sure what it is? Have you watched the first two episodes yet? Run, don't walk, DO IT NOW!

Dr H was Joss's side project during the writers strike. It's an experiment in web marketing and the power of viral distribution. Or something. I'd have thought you'd have been all over it...
  • Hi Dan - I wrote this piece on June 27th, when news about Dr. Horrible was just breaking. I actually haven't checked out the actual show as yet but have read a lot about it in the interview, including several revealing and intriguing interviews with Joss Whedon. I've thought about writing about the topic several times over the past few weeks but haven't found quite the right hook. Perhaps after I check the show I'll check back in on the topic, thanks !
  • Hurry! Go watch it! You'll love it.

I believe they're only available until close of play on Saturday.

Btw: I'm replying to this via email on Disqus. Seems very slick, but
apologies if the email history is included (not sure if it's stripped
    out).
