Interesting, Louis, I actually visit Techmeme multiple times a day, whereas I will dig through a backlog of TechCrunch posts via RSS when I have the time. I think of Techmeme as my "morning newspaper" for tech / interwebs news, and enjoy how the stories and surrounding conversations evolve in real time throughout the day.

That TechCrunch is growing faster than TechMeme isn't a surprise. Both are very good sites, but TechCrunch gives people reasons to visit multiple times a day, as TechMeme is more conducive to be followed via RSS. As I noted on Fred's blog, TechMeme is a pass-through gateway drug to good content, while TechCrunch is more of a destination site. Comments alone are a good differentiator there.

Meanwhile, reaction to the social media workflow is interesting. It was one of those "Sunday morning thinking out loud" posts. It's been fun to see others respond.
