I've noticed an uptick of spam getting through to gmail of late, have had to start using the mark-as-spam button more often. Let's also note an important point if you don't want spam to rule your e-life: *never* sign up for an online contest or sweepstakes... and if you do, use an e-mail address that you don't rely on for important communications!
