					<description>Man that sounds like a tough job - I seem to recall a politcal blogger that was working for the J. Edwards campaign that was raked over the coals by the right wing blogs.

I just mean to say that political blogging is a rough place :) I imagine an "official" political blogger would have a huge target on their back, no matter what party affiliation...</description>

The political blogosphere is a rough-and-tumble place. It's hard to imagine a White House blogger fitting in very easily into that mix, though it would be a lot of fun to see he/she/they try !</description>

Otherwise, the job is a political junkie's dream. Nothing to do all day but write quippy blurbs and cavort with presidential gadflys. Perhaps morning coffee with the President.
