Online Media Cultist — It’s On!
Welcome to Online Media Cultist! For what OMC is all about, please see the freshly written About page, which I’ve pasted below.
For now, I apologize as the final paint and polish is getting slapped on around these parts (much and huge thanks go to Blogcritics Technical Director and pal Phillip Winn for getting this site up and running so quickly and so well). For all of y’all folk who followed Dumpster Bust via RSS feed, you should see uninterrupted service, but please hit me at dumpsterbust@gmail.com if you notice anything awry.
Very excited to be here to explore the Interwebs from the cultist’s perspective. Hope you enjoy and I wildly encourage you to join in on the conversation. Cheers ~ EB

About Online Media Cultist
Online Media Cultist lurks and percolates and sizzles and snaps on the new web frontier. From social networking to social news to social media to social studies (one of those might not be covered as much as the others) OMC serves at the alter of what’s new and hot and fresh and webtastical. Whether its blogospheric machinations, golden start-up discoveries, or the maddeningly glorious convergence of what’s old and new, what’s expected and what’s about to become the fleeting norm, Online Media Cultist is there to bear (can I get a) witness.
If you think you might be a card carrying online media cultist, you already are. And by golly, you’ve just found your new home.

About Cultist-in-Chief Eric Berlin
Online Media Cultist has its roots in Dumpster Bust, a wide-ranging e-zine and later blog that delivered miracles from mind trash to the masses. While covering politics and television and music was super fun, it became clear to me over time that I wanted to focus my attention on the Interwebs, a universe I fixate upon and examine and revel in all day as a web producer in downtown Los Angeles.
I’m also the exec producer of Blogcritics, an online magazine of more than 1,700 superior writer/bloggers. It’s my pleasure and honor that Online Media Cultist is the latest addition to the growing BC Network of sites, which includes GlossLip, Desicritics, BC Goodie Bag, and Confessions of a Fanboy.

Credit for template designers are usually listed in the sidebar or footer and it is against distribution or copyright regulations to remove a credit for a design you did not create or purchase.

So that’s what the big move announcement was! Good luck with the new project and welcome to the wonderful world of Wordpress.

Milo — Whew! Good thing that the credit for the template designer of this template (you) *is* listed in the footer, right there were it says “Online Media Cultist is powered by WP and Superfly.”
I hope that’s okay, given how many changes I made to column width and fonts and images. People clicking through should immediately see your original and realize that the changes aren’t your fault, yes?

Well, this is a fine how do you do (winks)! First I find out I’m plagiarizing, and then my identity gets stolen. Stabbed in the back, I tell you!
Seriously, I hope all is squared away in terms of attribution. Certainly OMC is about spreading the love where the love needs to be spread. I love the template, by the way, think it’s bad ass!

You’re defintely right, and I’m definetly wrong, big sorry about that, didn’t check the “Superfly” link.

Thanks very much, Eric F., for the kind words. WP definitely has more power than blogger but also takes some getting used to. All in all I’m very happy to finally have shop set up over here, and again my thanks go out for Phillip’s hard work and expertise.

Thanks Duke! It’s a little sad to leave the name Dumpster Bust behind but yeah, I’m digging the new OMC mantel (totem?).
